What is Get into Geoscience?
Geoscience is the science of the Earth and everything connected to it. It includes everything from the rocks beneath our feet to the atmosphere, everything in-between and even on other planets!
Get into Geoscience is a national initiative that works with second level students and their teachers to explore the role that Geoscience plays in our every day lives and in obtaining a sustainable future for our planet.
What do we offer?
There are two aspects to our programme:

Transition year programme: this challenges TY students to solve a real world geoscience problem by working with a geoscientist.

Career talks: these talks are available to any school anywhere in the country, in person or online. Find out more.​​
